People may know, most will defenetely not. In 2011 I was invited to play in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign we dubbed in short Eldar.
What started out to be a weird experiment (as I didnt play and roleplaying games before that exept a dark eye beginners mission with friends on a table, which was great btw), turned out to be a very personal experience.
The game basically ended when we defeated the Big bad a year ago, it was big, it was grand, we lost good friends on the way, but kicked butt. Then we started a new arc because we just reached lvl 13… and we derailed from the beginning. Not knowing what to do with this the game was put on hold, weeks months. We ran another game with someone else in the group DMing. as that game came to a eventual end with little to no progress on Eldar we decided to just end it. Our characters got a ending each based on our input. Writing down what my character wanted to accomplish and how it turned out reminded my why I loved the game so much.
But this is the end of the Eldar Game and so far of the Eldar world. I have started to do a epilogue thing from my characters perspective. It’ll be not much, sketched like the image above. Just needing to get this out of my system. And yes, there were tears. I’m a big wuss, but just very emotional aboud this.
Hope the next game will be entertaining aswell.
